The Sheppey Open Meeting was the first in the UK Championship Series, with a good fleet looking forward to a great forecast. More wind than forecast on Saturday reduced the number of teams competing, but those that went out had an absolute blast! Less wind than forecast on Sunday left the whole fleet fighting tide and hunting wind, offering a great variety of tactical options. Terry and Matt fought off close challenges from Harry Briddon/Alan(?) Kenney and Ben Iliffe/Richard Nurse, to take the event.
